Auto-Compass
Built For Beginners
For beginner to intermediate players, the Auto-Compass helps keeping track of seat wind, round wind, scoring, and more. Missing some point sticks in your Mahjong set or just want to keep things as portable as possible? No problem! The Auto-Compass is here to help, whether you want to play with physical point sticks or not. The ability to double check scoring on-the-spot as well as determine point differences between players makes the Auto-Compass a reliable asset to any Mahjong player still trying to get a grasp of non-automated offline play.
Convenient For Veterans
For advanced and tournament players, the Auto-Compass helps speed up the pace of the game, particularly when it comes to confirming correct score amounts and when analyzing score differences between players. Kiriage Mangan, Sanma (3-Player), and the ability to adjust starting scores are all features the Auto-Compass has to offer. No need to wait around while people count sticks and take up valuable time at the table — the Auto-Compass will do all the heavy lifting for you.

Using the Auto-Compass
The Auto-Compass replaces the traditional physical compass most players use for hand-shuffle Riichi Mahjong. This digital compass does it all for you. It can —
- Shuffle the dealer
- Indicate seat winds and starting dealer
- Show direction and dice roll of where to break the wall
- Indicate the number of Riichi sticks on the table
- Track honba
- Show score differences between players
- Calculate Han and Fu, as well as Exhaustive Draw payments
… and more! Future updates to the compass are possible via USB-C connection to a computer.
Additional Features
When setting up for a game, the players can change the starting score to whatever they would like (the default being 25k).
Kiriage Mangan, one of the most commonly used house rules, can also be enabled which which will round the scoring for certain threshold Han and Fu combinations for you.
There are features to manually adjust the score of each player to account for Chombos (penalties), party rules, Double Ron, and more.
If a Han/Fu combination is accidentally entered incorrectly, an included Undo Last Round feature returns the compass to the previous round’s state.
